More new radars make their presence known!
Its been a quiet slow upgrade for NSW and VIC. The introduction of, or an upgrade to existing speed units.
A new smaller external antenna is now being used on the old Kustom units. Existing Silver Eagle MK2 version can accept the new smaller "Ka band antennas".
Round white front face of antenna is easily identified.
These new systems are much faster, and can be used for same direction traffic.
Victoria has also started using the Stalker Ka units in Cars and on Bikes, in addition to the upgraded Kustom units!
Most products out there over 2 years old will be past it, for others it will be time for an update.
